Hello! My name is Meesha, and I’m thrilled to introduce myself as the new owner of Countryside Kennel, taking over from Kate and Darryl. They’ve given me a wonderful opportunity to grow my love for animals and expand this business into a true family venture.
My own fur family includes three calico cats and two dogs, who keep my life joyful and full. I joined Countryside Kennel in 2015 as a kennel attendant, and from the start, I knew I’d found my calling. Being around pets of all breeds, shapes, and sizes brings me genuine happiness.
Over the years, I’ve gained experience working in kennels, a veterinary clinic, and even tried my hand at grooming. Fostering animals has also been close to my heart. My passion for animals is something I share with my family, and I’m always eager to learn more—whether it’s about pet nutrition, training techniques, handling, or the unique characteristics of different breeds.
We have boarding packages to fit every dog’s need.

We’ve been going to countryside kennels for quite some time now and we’ve always had good positive experiences! From check-in, they always verify the current diet for our dogs. The staff is very courteous and engaged in their work and are willing to share information that is helpful to our dogs health. Our dogs allways come home happy . My dog absolutely loves this place!! We picked him up from a 4 day weekend there and he was absolutely exhausted, which is amazing knowing my puppy loved it and was well looked after! Just booked him for a 2 week vacation there, well we will be gone. This won’t make me as sad to leave him because I know he will be well looked after and cared for!! This place is amazing, the staff is always super friendly, we have a senior energetic Rottweiler and they know how to handle her, she’s always happy to go and when she comes out so we can tell when she’s been treated well. We drive from windsor just to be able to use this kennel

The staff are great. They really care about your fur babies. The staff definitely go above and beyond their job. Would recommend them over and over. My Yorkiepoo (Charlie) loves going to doggy day care. Always so tuckered out after a day of play.

Our cat Abe stayed here the week we were away on vacation. He says he was not amused by the car ride there or back, but he really enjoyed his weeks stay. His enclosure was roomy and warm, and he had a big window to look out. He says he got more attention than at home, but I don’t believe him. He’s just trying to make me feel bad. 😆 We will definitely be using their services again when we need to leave for an extended time. Thanks!

We boarded our puppy Bruce at Countryside for 7 days over March break and could not be happier with the service! Our boy came home healthy, happy, calm (and a bit tired which is a good thing for a 10 month old pup). The staff was professional and gave us a full run down of how he was when we picked him up. Plus they post TONS of pictures everyday on social media so you can see how your dog is doing. The facility is clean, efficient and the rates are very affordable for the level of care the dog receives. Our dog Bruce looks forward to his next visit in the summer!
